3x as many postpartum visits compared to traditional care.

You’ll have hour-long visits to ask any questions and you’ll receive whole woman assessments and education. This includes a physical assessment and discussion on how you are doing mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Assessments for the baby include: newborn head to toe exams, weights, jaundice checks, breastfeeding support, and vitals signs. There are a wide range of topics covered in these visits from normal newborn care, to warning signs to watch for, teaching and treatment for postpartum depression and anxiety, addressing common challenges and complications of breastfeeding, managing sleep, and many more!

In-home visits start during pregnancy at 32 and 37 weeks to create a birth plan and postpartum plan, then postpartum visits continue at 72 hours post-birth, 1 week, 2 weeks, and final visit at 6 weeks. No visits to a pediatrician’s office are necessary in the first 2 months unless a problem comes up.

And the best part? Direct access to your midwife daily by phone, text, or email if any questions or concerns arise.

Let’s walk this journey together.
